Why You Should Buy an Xbox 360
Nearly a year after its original release date, now is one of the best times to purchase your very own Xbox 360 system. Just in time for Christmas, prices will soon begin to drop, more and more games will be coming out and Microsoft, the company responsible for the Xbox 360 is just gearing up to release some extra peripherals that will totally enhance your gaming and multimedia experience without putting a huge hole in your pocket. So, with so much great Xbox 360 stuff on the horizon as well as a proposed price drop, it just may be time for you to head off to your local electronics retailer to pick up a brand new Xbox 360 before the holiday rush.
Designed to compete against Sony’s Playstation 3 and Nintendo’s Wii, the Xbox 360 is a next generation gaming system that carries near lifelike graphics in each and every one of its games. Although the Xbox 360 was the first next generation gaming console to be released, the Xbox 360 was not really released with too much fanfare. Sure, there were people snagging Xbox 360s all over the place so they could get them for Christmas, but in comparison to other console releases, the Xbox 360 was rather unimpressive.
A year later, however, things are looking up for the Xbox 360. Unfortunately the past few months have left us with only a few must have games, but that is about to change. Amazing new titles that will push the Xbox 360 to its limits are about to be released in hopes of being able to stave off the competition that will inherently arise from the release of the Playstation 3 and the Wii. Xbox 360 games like Gears of War and Halo 3 will arrive in stores soon, making the Xbox 360 the system to own in the next few months. When the Xbox 360 is coupled with great add-ons like cameras, an HD-DVD player and a software update that will let you game in 1080p high definition – there are tons of great reasons why you should pick up an Xbox 360 by Christmas.
